I'm putting a green roof on one of my coops.
I'm also putting bee hives on my carriage house as soon as I put a new roof on it. My house is too tall to do either on it easily.
The bees are getting too much shade because I don't want them right in the middle of the garden.

Speaking of beards. I took a break from gardening yesterday to have lunch with the family and watch the Cardinals opening day baseball game outside where the whole family works. My daughter was bartending and waited on us. (second pic)

Working on BP. No fun but it's helping. Of course management stunts the last few weeks hasn't help either. Been off for caffeine for quite some time. Can't say it's helped my sleep patterns though

Okay I'm having phone issues....this app doesn't work as well with my new Galaxy S7.....I JUST DID A LONG SERIES OF quotes......Sally style...answered them and lost then before I could get them posted.........

The app doesn't really work. It hasn't worked for a lot of people in a very long time. Use Google, it works.

I've got to change out the bedding for fresh. Had it overly deep for warmth, but they kick most of it up around the sides, anyway. I've found eggs partially buried. I'll be surprised if I don't find more when I take it all out.

I'm sure that's how I ended up with extra eggs too.

I like! That reminds me...My BIL told me yesterday that you can tell what color eggs a hen lays by the color of the place on the side of the head ( where your pic is white)

It is almost always true. Aside from information in the earlobe link Sally posted. Penedesencas and Empordanesas have white earlobes and lay very dark eggs.

I don't know if she ever looked back. He was from Detroit and she moved there first. The Detroit castings plant closed and they moved here. Her mother still lived in Marquette. My buddy is dead now and her mother may be as well. She remarried here and co-owns one of the bars where our pool team plays.

I have to go to pool league on my birthday. I hope I win, I'd hate to be depressed on my birthday.
