Good morning...well...almost afternoon here...

Baby and I are still fighting the crud but I think we're both a bit better than yesterday.
My 9 yr old stepdaughter's mom text me this AM saying her husband (stepdaughter's stepdad...who is only 40 I think?) had a heart cath done Mon and is undergoing bypass surgery today for several blockages. If everyone could say a prayer for him. They were at the hospital waiting to hear surgery time today.

Happy Hump Day everyone...it IS Wed right?? lol I'm so off on my days lately with being sick!!

I'm glad you and the little one are starting to get better. Prayers for you stepdaughter's stepfather. Yep, it's Wednesday!

Lol I'll never forget how we met. The hatch is going so much better this time around. As long as I stay away from the bator and keep the dog away I should be good. I sure hate I baked them babies from the bloody that day. But y'all had me in tears from laughing so hard. Boy that was a terrible day though. But it brought us together so it was worth it.

Not a whole lot. Kicked the 2 week olds out of the basement and into the garage on Monday. Not much else besides that and running some fence for a new run. What's new on your end?

I am building a new coop which the kids have appropriated around work, dealing with all the critters and spring babies, and trying to decide which of 70+ chicks I am keeping.
I am also impatiently waiting on my ankle so I can get ready for my blue belt test.

My ex BIL and my cousin both died before 50 from heart disease and not catching things in time. I'm glad your step daughter's step dad is getting help and I wish him a fast recovery.

Hey this RIR (not hatchery) is two and a half or three weeks old. The dark feathers look like armour which looks cool to me.. Does anyone else think cockrel? I hope for breeders from this group of both genders.
