Yes...definitely thankful because he did lose his job in the oilfield like many people in our town...even this job we're thankful and on the fence with every day because he's a diesel mechanic for semis that haul frac sand...but now they're not hauling sand (due to the oilfield crash) and desperately looking to haul anything else they can so the business doesn't go under. So we are definitely thankful for each day they're still afloat!
