They and all their friends work at the same restaurant - a Welsh pub. The reception was in their basement banquet room. It overflowed into the main restaurant. My whole family works there.
Here's what was on the cake.

Yes, there are some people that really don't care. My husband is one of them. I finally got him out of it. With as crazy as he is acting now, it's probably a good thing that he hasn't gone to anyone's funeral lately.

My brother-in-law used to wear khaki shorts and a button-down shirt, sometimes a tie and sneakers. That was for weddings anyway. When his daughter died almost 21 years ago, I can't remember what he wore, but probably a suit. That is the only funeral I've ever been to with him. I was wondering what my sister would put him in for today's viewing, but I assume it's not his typical shorts!
