Hi LG...... I'm going fishing.... Yay!!!!
Good for you. Have a great time, and most of all, enjoy yourself.

Once upon a time, I was walking around the church camp that Brian was in charge of. They had a decent sized farm for the kids to enjoy. A llama, goats, sheep, chickens, and pigs. There was a coyote trotting down the road by the animals. It looked at the animals, then ran off. I rushed back to the house to tell Brian, and he laughed. "Did you see that llama in the pen? Nothing is going anywhere near those animals as long as she is there!"
There's a little flock of Llamas near me. Suppose they'd rent one of them out???

The IRS stated that the answer he gave was unacceptable.

The man responded back, "Who did I leave out?"

How very true. It's so very true, that it's funny. A lot of the time, when I get frustrated, I laugh instead of cry.

Daxi, I wanted to get a picture of little Daxi today but as I was cleaning out the brooders in the garage, I heard one of the "friendly" neighborhood feral cats approaching and shut the garage...so it's kinda dark in there but hopefully I'll get a pic later.

Maybe!

They work best if you can get a male. He needs to be gelded so it should be three when that is done. They have about twenty years so they outlast a dog.
Here is William who is at my house and I keep another one at my friend's house with my goat there. He is Si and is sunning himself.

Fisherlady was here yesterday, returning my ducklings that she had been taken care of for me. Since the chickens came from her, she brought her camera to record their progress. It is hard to believe that it is the same flock I see every time I look outside.

I can't wait to see how it is doing! I am so glad you were able to help it.

Supposedly donkeys are even better, you should get one of each

My husband thinks the horse is less work than the chickens. She was actually his idea even though I'm the horse person, and the chicken person

So true! We are talking about getting a couple herefords
Horses are picky eaters; they won't eat where they've dumped. Goats, on the other hand.....besides, goats take up less room & eat less feed.

Note to self:  I will never, never, never break open an egg after hatch completion to check to see why they didn't hatch until 48 hours after last hatch.  I killed a chick today.
:hit :hugs I will put that in my mental file along with keeping me separate during quarantine since I killed my favorite hen and got my whole flock sick by not doing the quarantined birds last and washing and changing. So sorry.
