Whenever we've tried to adopt a cat from the pound they make you sign something saying you won't make a barn cat out of them, and you can't have dogs.

sure seems counter productive.

A friend at work said he saved a kitten from an attic and jokingly asked me if I want it. He was shocked that I said yes. That cat had kittens and we now have her a one of hers left. Can't tell them apart any more.

I know a lot of people who get cats dropped off because people think because people live in the country, they want tons of cats! I had someone dump 2 pregnant cats in the middle of the night. Both had about 5 kittens each, Luckily there is a clinic that will spay/Nuter cats and dogs for almost nothing, its in auburn, Sometimes they have barn cats there!

I have five dozen crabs now.I just had another dozen in my trap

The clinic in Auburn is awesome. We use them quite a bit. I've had chickens dropped off before.

Hi all, thanks I now have kids songs in my head.

I barely finished the mud run, it was mostly running up moutains. Only about 7 obstacles. But 2 miles climbing, and 1 going down hill. I'm taking a nap now.

Duckling is gone for a few days. The sun came out. I had a list of stuff to do. Clean a closet, and put all the vacuums and stuff in it (I have no idea what I would do with the stuff in the closet!), clean the storage room, clean my room (the stuff I took to the funeral, and the things discarded right before I left), OR... Clean the chicken and duck pens, dismantle and rebuild the run, build another coop.
I couldn't decide where to start, so I took a nap.

Brit's last prom and my last child to graduate. Big sister helped her get ready and big brother is her and her (girl)friend's designated driver. I imagine there will be a little party'ing going on and then everybody is staying here tonite.

The ducklings just had their first taste of lettuce. My lead two came running with the rest of the flock, and the other three weren't far behind. One did not seem to care for it too much. It walked over, and began playing with one of the hard white pieces. When everyone had their fill, the five of them put themselves to bed.

I hate taking naps, but I don't sleep enough at night. Sleep is necessary for some reason.

These ducklings are simply amazing! The adults... I have had to chase them into the coop before I go to bed every night but one since it has warmed up!
