So my Browns won and they're in first place by 1/2 game in the East. White Sox are tearing it up.Just finished watching the O's beat the Rays, to avoid the sweep. Tillman looked really good, for once.
My house has a flat roof with very little space between roof rafters and ceiling joists. When I replaced the roof a few years ago, there was a huge dead snake in that space. I guess it came off of a tree but still don't know how it got in there.I don't mind snakes, as long as they're outside where they belong. They don't belong in my house, like the one I found last week, 'specially when they're 5' long
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten.ok,so I need help asap.I left her alone and we went to church well when we got back I went to check and one wwas kinda of broke where the pip was well I tried to help but it isn't ready I stuck it back under her.its foot cought a vein and there is blood.and u can see a bunch of wet toward the pointed end of the egg inside.what can I do. I put it back and left it alone.
Candling is for artificial incubation, not for natural incubation.I candled them all just to check while I was ther and looks like one dead after internal pip,and one before.i just left them alone I didn't know I thought after 24 hours u help them
Telling us that you left it alone while you went to church means that you play with the eggs all the time when you're at home. You're gone for a couple hours and candle again. What is going to change in a couple hours?whatever,i left it alone.and when I got back from church it was crushed some.so I thought to help.so sorry wont ask for help.even though I did leave it alone and went to church
Well, your half right, anyway, although they both have something in common....just the thought of them gives me heartburn
Good one.WHAT? You really don't know!?
Flies bring baby to the world!
Flies are the best food for frogs and those are the best food for Storks
And Storks as all the world knows are the ones thst brings baby to the world! So no flies no frog, no frog no Storks, no Storks no Babys !- simple isn't it?![]()
Same here. I usually move a broody to her own apartment where she can sit in peace with just enough room to stretch and have food and water. I always put fresh bedding in the space. I can count the number of times they come off the nest by the big smelly hunk of feces. They don't always come off daily.CH, do you not consider candling disturbing the bird? I have a broody that I have had since a chick. I haven't disturbed her at anytime except to move her nest box. I haven't looked under her one time. I am waiting til she gets up to poop to check on her eggs. So far she hasn't gotten up for three days. It's a little worry some but I guess I will let her decide when to get up.. Who knows , she may not be successful but I am learning a lot. It's my first broody.
I have lots of limits. But when it comes to mammal parts, the only thing I haven't eaten and don't plan on any time soon is brains.Yeah but still I have limits...
...
You know I grew up in a third world country where protein is hard to come by in forms that Americans are used to.
Wash half, incubate other half.
Hey now I resemble that remark....
Good evening everyone!
Finally caught up, again.
@Sally Sunshine loved the monkey pics!
Especially chaos and local!![]()

That's just wrong on so many levels.......

A Vietnamese friend told me that monkey brains is a treat for special occasions. They use a special table with a hold in the middle. They tie a live monkey under the table with the top of its head sticking through the hole. Slice the top of the head off and eat the live brains.

The Cards have flipped the switch from last year. They won 100 games last year with the lowest run producing team in the majors and the best pitching.
This year they have the highest scoring offense to date and pitching has struggled a bit - at least for them. What's weird is they made very few roster changes from last year.

I like snakes but they always startle me when they are unexpected. I see a few each week during warm weather.

I candle once when I'm incubating to look for clears before transferring to the hatcher. I never candle under setters.

But guess what, I don't even open the door and the chicks still hatch without any intervention.
Yeah but still I have limits...
