@Chaos18 I remember you mentioning the flock raiser before. Do you feed it to your layers also or do you switch to the layena or another layer feed?
I feed it to everybody and offer calcium free choice on the side. I have roosters and the extra calcium in layer feed can be harder on there kidneys because they have no need for it.

Well, which one then? They are all the same size.

Maybe try something with bigger pockets.

Thanks!! It's an Akita. Same breed as the one he just lost.
Beautiful pup.

I would go lower or supplement more greens and how much niacin you using? and do you feed mulched grass clippings?

The protein content of their feed can be reduced to 17-18% at 3 weeks.

Make sure to yell at (or sternly correct @mlm Mike ) as well cause he feeds his the same thing

Flock raiser has niacin in it but I add 500 mg to a gallon of water for a little extra. As for the grass they eat it's whatever they can pick up from the lawn.

Why does nobody believe me?

Nice!! They are looking good!

Good morning ALL!!! Happy Friday! My lock down eggs aren't doing anything yet. I think they are afraid to hatch after they learned I killed all the previous babies....

But on a happier note, my BF got a new puppy. He's got a raccoon face!!!

I hope everyone is having a good day!!!

Hey sally, I see that you don't have sand as a duckling bedding idea. Is it bad to use? I have my dux on sand and I had the last chick batch on sand.
-Banti
I offer sand to them in a dish first few weeks, I dont have easy access to sand so I dont use it.

Love this mug!!!

oh!!!! no such thing for a OB doc strange but I sorta get it I guess.  Not sure I like that though!

It is strange. The office we are currently at has 5 OB docs and they all rotate(the goal is a an apt with each doc prior to delivery). Whoever is on call come due time is the one that delivers. Not sure how it will play out if we get a referral.
