Good Morning. I woke up to the 2 pipped eggs hatched and 1 more pipped.... Having my first cup of coffee and trying to find some energy

Howdy Liz Hope you witnessed a glorious sunrise; a great start to the day. We haven't seen much of the sun here for 2-3 days; makes it tough to work on the old tan (or the old one, either, come to think about it).

Well here it is! The one and only chick from the shipped eggs. I left them in the bator with the next set just-in-case, but this is it so far... It took this thing a little over 2 hours to zip, and had the shell glued to it's back when it did finally get out. The navel was slightly open, I put some Iodine on it. I tried to get the sticky off of it (without putting it under running water). Looks like I'll have to do something with that right foot too. It may not make it, but with what it's been through I'm going to wait it out and see. Good Morning Everyone!

Been raining for 2-3 days here. Mostly just drizzle; enough so's I can't mow the grass or work outside much. Thinking about building an ark & making sure neither of the boats leak.

Thanks! I probably lost sleep last night deciding whether I should put a shoe on it, or whether it would straighten out on it's own. It looks like I'm going to have to put a shoe on it.

You're welcome to it. Poor chickens look like drowned rats; ain't got sense enough to get in out of the rain. At least it's not cold.
