Are they the goose equivalent to muscovy duck?

Yes they are smaller than most geese

 

 

I just set around 117 chicken eggs on Sunday. they should hatch the 28th

I set 12 the same day

Only 12??? That don't really count does it??

It does when there's only two us to eat the eggs & I only hatch chicks for replacements in my small flock of 6 hens. We do have enough eggs, normally, for the wife to sell a couple dozen on a semi-regular basis; not enough to cover the feed.

Just broke my two broodies. Not incubating on purpose - no more room for chickens!!! Too many, too many, too many!!!! (I have culling to do this weekend...)

I think most of them are I have only had mine since January and we had weird weather so it was mostly warm.
