Number five is in the incubator, drying off.
I love my set up! I can put both of my incubators on the shelf above, and just put the chicks in the brooder below when they're ready! So darn handy!

x2 well said!!! I agree

it all starts in elementary school, and example....

kids saying "my teacher dont like me and I dont like her that's why I hate school and am doing bad" LETS PUT THEM IN ANOTHER CLASS only for the same thing to happen over and over, and we expect them to be able to deal with REAL LIFE OUT THERE? How many people will they have to deal with in life that they arent going to like much? A LOT!

:duc Me, too - I will enjoy the chickens I have more when I have a number that's easier for me to care for (as I don't sell birds or chicks). :duc :duc :duc OMG, I'm never going to make it through the year with you enablers... In all seriousness, it's not that hard to resist when I remember what a pain it is to have pans of fresh ice water out in the chicken runs every day when it's over 100F - and multiply it by the number of chickens I have now (vs. ONLY THREE last summer). I'd need to buy a whole 'nother freezer and make ice around the clock!!!!! (Here's a photo of dearly departed Paula from last summer, keeping her feetsies cool in a pan of ice water... Yes, that's a Pyrex baking pan.:D ) - Ant Farm
freeze plastic water bottles, put in waterer, have two sets to swap for day two.
