Ah, yes, but this is for their widdle feetsies to cool them off (I can't say "webz" because they aren't ducksies...)

I tried it on a very hot day when they were struggling (it's on the heat list right before dunking them in the bucket). I picked each one up and placed them with feet in the ice water. They stopped panting very quickly and were so happy - it was like spa time. They started to vie for time in the icewater foot bath - it makes them happy and keeps them well, so I made ice for them. I only do it when it's SUPER hot (>100F for most of the day) - they are otherwise pretty well adapted to heat.

Yeah, well....

Oh, goodness - Banti, have you forgotten your medication again? Benny, do you have the pills, or do I need to get the syringe?

Recurrent Banti Disease - so refractory to treatment. Just a temporary improvement with purchase of ducksies with webzies and then here we are again... So sad, a mind is a terrible thing to waste... :lau

(This is your brain. This is your brain on ducks.:gig )

Good luck, CH! Remember to leave your broody hen alone during lock down so you don't risk her getting off the nest when she shouldn't. Let her be the Mommy. Excited to see your new chicks when they arrive!!!

(And I'm still jealous about your cute cute cute little goat...)
