Thus I quit teaching and drive a truck.

Sorry you had to put up with some kids with no parenting. I'm sure that some were good kids. But if things were like they we're when I was in school, We knew to respect out teachers and elders. Some of the things teachers have no control over because the system won't let them it's ashamed. My cousin teaches. If I'd done what some of these kids do now, I'd probably wouldn't be here. My parents would've gotten a hold of me after the teacher did.

Well (remembering I've only done this a couple times), I hand turned my shipped eggs three times a day, and since I work during the day, I turned before work (around 7-8 am), right after work (around 5 or 6pm) and then right before bed (around 10 or 11, or later if I was up). It seemed to go ok, close enough to being 8 hour intervals. (And I had no other choice - like you, wasn't there midday.)
