She is doing much better tonight!!! She has been in my shirt almost the whole day. I put her in the brooder while I collected eggs and shut up the gang. When I came back, I saw that she was standing momentarily I was lifting her head some. She was being picked on too much, so I did take her back out. She was able to momentarily stand in my hand.
Yes, Sally I do think I accidentally aspirated her. I had tried to avoid it, but apparently that's what happened.
Now I think that everything is OK, and she should be fine tomorrow.

I forget who it was, but on the sharing tips thread they said to use the qtip to give fluids try that and not soaked to dripping just wet whistle ya know

Oh! And I have a stupid smile. I wasn't growling.

they are on hatch day? you have other eggs in the bator? if its ready to hatch nothing you can do but wait and see how it does. if its a younger egg, perhaps seal with wax or clear tape

When I was pregnant with my twins, I had headaches. They got pretty severe towards the end. The dr said it was all the extra blood and hormones pumping through. The veins on my temples got really big. They were born at 7 months because I could not get any bigger. My ribs separated trying to make room. Twins pull muscles that you never even knew were there! I wish the best for you and her. It can be a tough road. Raising twins is a blast though! But don't expect to sleep much for awhile......

I didn't have headaches, but those first four months ... I'd never had such a sensitivity to smell!!
I lost them after that.

es the shell I cracked is on hatch day and the others are ducks which have another week. I have a feeling it had died as there has been no movement from it for a few hours. I was so excited as I don't have much luck with chickens and it was growing so well but now I think I'm not gonna get to see it

Have three baby Silkies now.waiting on one More to hatch.but how did the blue come from a pair of solid black adults.and here is the bantam that hatched them for me.

Most likely a recessive gene. At least that's how it works in dogs
