Quiet bad but none of the shell has come away (if that makes sense) is there any way I can help it by taking the shell away and assisting in the hatching

She is doing much better tonight!!! She has been in my shirt almost the whole day. I put her in the brooder while I collected eggs and shut up the gang. When I came back, I saw that she was standing momentarily and was lifting her head some. She was being picked on too much, so I did take her back out. She was able to momentarily stand in my hand.
Yes, Sally I do think I accidentally aspirated her. I had tried to avoid it, but apparently that's what happened.
Now I think that everything is OK, and she should be fine tomorrow.
I forget who it was, but on the sharing tips thread they said to use the qtip to give fluids try that and not soaked to dripping just wet whistle ya know

Sounds like you will!! you know I still think younger flock eggs always hatch better and cleaner, be it the smaller egg or what, but they always give the best hatches by far than the old big eggs.Day 21 starts in about 2 hours. I have 3 pips out of 16 eggs. One of the teenager EE eggs is pipped. Dark green shell. I hope I have chicks soon!!
