What's worse:
Running RH consistently low, like mid-to-high 20's
or
constantly jumping from 20's to high 40's when I add a little water in a small Rx bottle with a small water surface area or remove it altogether?

To much RH and eggs don't lose enough moisture and you risk big wet sticky chicks. To low RH and you risk them losing to much moisture and drying out.
