Didn't check the link that chaos posted yet. Figure it mentions a salt treatment. Unless you have a separate tank set up and ready to go I would recommend a salt treatment for your sick fishey. I always wanted a only cichlid tank but never got around to setting one up. I have a handful of 10 gal, a 90 gal, and a 180 gal but never got around to setting any of them up last time we moved. Expensive hobby and moving with the military it got frustrating trying to set everything back up each time. Anyway back on the salt treatment, that would be my preferred due to the fact its generally safer for all the fish involved.
