I have not joined the May HAL, but I was a stalker on the New Years Day HAL

And yes, it was an amazing present that I am so thankful for! I just told everyone the only thing I want is Amazon GCs, then pool the lot and make up the difference. It also helps when the mom and MIL are just as excited about watching chicks hatch as you are.

I can't offer any advice on that front because I know it's a torturous decision. I know how near and dear to you heart little miss precious pants is.

While I have to admit I do not fully know the complexity of the situation I'm reminded of something I saw a while back. Hope whatever choice you make it works out for the best.
