That's tough enough with paint; almost impossible in some situations on carved leather. Someone came to me at a field trial with a new western saddle that had been represented by the seller as being hand-carved; he wanted to verify that, & asked if I could tell the difference between hand-carved & stamped. I assured him I could. A few minutes later I was able to tell him that his saddle was, indeed, hand-carved. He asked how I could tell, & how so quickly. I told him it was easy; stamping machines don't make mistakes, & I'd found a mistake...a miscut with the carving knife.

:thumbsup

Go easy on yourself. You sound like a super hard worker. You must have needed the sleep.

Well I got the incubator filled back up. Woke up with plans for the day cancelled due to rain. Decided to make the hour drive to an auction. Was hoping to get rid of some birds but got there late and realized I was last in a very long line of sellers which doesn't usually go so well. Decided to keep my birds in the truck and see what they had. Came home with 3 dzn mixed color cochin and 8 amaraucana which interestingly enough are marked EE on the shell. Don't have my hopes high but figured it's worth a shot to walk away with almost 4 dzn eggs for 12 bucks. Already have them set and this time I double checked that the bator was plugged in correctly.

Oh, geez. I slept until 1PM today!!!!!

I'm sure there's a reason, and this week was kinda rough, but I feel like SUCH a deadbeat - I have so much to do! And I am attending graduation tomorrow (representing my department), so I won't have tomorrow to catch up. :hit

Now I have that horrible groggy feeling. :sick

I've started the bread dough and the pizza dough is rising. Now I need to eat something and then head outside and try to get started on one of the any overdue things I need to do for my chickens. Maybe to feel productive I'll start clearing and setting up the foundation of the new large coop...

I'm such a sloth...

With the beating you've had with dogs and chickens you deserve to have a down day, to say nothing of all the work you do.

PIZZA yummm. :yesss:

Well I've half the list done for today. Picked up the spent grain from my friend Peter, 14 five gallon buckets. Traded dozen eggs for them and I got to sample the brew he's putting out this week. Deal on my side for sure.

Off to get second and last thing on list done. Yeah short list today anything else is bonus.
