the property I live at now was abandoned for MANY years before being rehabed and sold to me.  One of the squatters living here had a pig in the chicken coop/rabbit hutch that was in the back yard.  But until we start to get some steady rain, no additional animals for me.

VERY nice!!!   What did you line the pond with?  Do you have any type of drain in there?

still a work I progress, pond is concreted but much to go. Aiming to finish it off with a good sealant, and yes there is a drain in the bottom to a valve on the outside.
