מורן is a very popular name here, and it is a name of a very beutiful plant, the problem is the meaning of it in English, because מורן is pronounced in english "MORAN"

דור is another popular name for boys here, and it's meaning in English is generation.
The problem is that the pronunciation of דור in English is "DOR"
דודו is another one, "DUDU"

When my brother-in-law boxed in the 1980 Olympics (Moscow?) he was very surprised when he got off the plane and was greeted by his chaperone, who introduced himself as "Turd!"

Each class must be interesting, with so much variety. Teaching robotics must have been interesting too. I worked in computer automation for about 20 years.

That they are. There is no one size fits all. I don't think I've ever taught one the same.
Usually after some introductory stuff about the differences in commercial vs. small holder production and the reasons to raise poultry, I focus on predators and housing. Then on to nutrition, egg laying, breeds, disease etc..
Yesterday I completely flipped it and sometimes that happens depending on questions asked.

It was different, I ended up teaching all the people that had been my journeymen just a few years earlier.
We had paint, sealing, gluing, material handling, spot welding, projection welding robots and a combination of those things. Many with vision systems that could offset each move based on results of camera detection, a bunch of code and math. It was fun.

HINT: never add up how much money you have spent on eggs, chicks and supplies.......

That or anything else I've done around here that I thought was a good idea.

I wouldn't worry too much.

I remember when General Motors thought they had designed the perfect car to market in Latin America.
It may have been except they misnamed it - the Chevy Nova. Which mean doesn't go in Spanish.
Marketing blunder. They might as well have named it gonorrhea.
