Was it a cartoon? I remember when we got our first TV. I would get up early in the summer put a pillow in front of it, turn it on and watch the test pattern till the first program of the day started. The anticipation when the test pattern was replaced by the flag and national anthem. That was about 6 AM. We got the TV when there were 3 stations. It wasn't long before there were 6. Two of those had very poor reception. If things aren't fun, just blow them off. Tuckerman's sounds familiar. I know I've heard of it, what area is it in? I skied Corbet's couloir once. It's at Jackson Hole and called America's scariest slope. They call it the steepest, gnarliest, inbounds run in the world. It isn't just steep though, it is narrow and depending on how you drop in, it could be 50' or more of air before your skis touch snow again and it is an immediate series of hop turns or you scrape your face off on the sheer rock walls on each side. Standing at the lip gives you Elvis legs. If you don't have the time to watch the whole thing, at least click in at the 3:15 mark of the following video. Tree skiing can be scary but this is nuts.
