Water gun's been laying on top of the coop since the day it arrived; no need to use it, yet  

Hope it stays that way. Shaggy has to go this weekend. He's just a backyard mix but my only rooster of age. I have a few more coming up soon that will hopefully work out better.

My sister in law have twins 2 years old and an older doghater 3.5 year old! It was mmmmm not so easy
2 years !

It will require adjustments for sure. Give them a couple of years and it'll be more hands to help with the chores though.

Thank you Benny. Change has been a part of my life for the past 15 years but yes this will be a big one and a lot different than the ones I have encountered previously.

It was not leaking but 5 others were crushed. Stuid USPS. They were packed very well. I think they must have been dropped, tossed, stood on and shaken!

I think some of us should get together & form an egg transport company, with several different drivers (all chicken people) covering different regions of the country in unmarked vehicles, I'd sure throw in.

Hatching Update=Woke up to the first one out.
1 Cochin hatched, 5 external pips.
2 EE's external pips.

Hatch has begun and only 35 eggs left to make it out.

Baby update. Had an ultrasound this morning and found out end of October we will be welcoming identical twin boys to the house. Wife seems to have calmed down at least for the moment since everything at the appointment seemed good.

Have a local flock swap tomorrow and hope to move some birds. Running out of room.
