They are quail eggs due to hatch today. No movement yet. I am not sure how long it was.

Hi guys! Im Cara. A newbie. Going to try and join your group. I was told it moves fast, but Wow! Had no idea! Lol. I put my first eggs in the bator today. 6 BR. Going Chooks dry method. Got an LG still air, so really crossing my fingers. I did a lot of reading the past coupke weeks, so hoping my studying will give me an upper hand.

Did first non-fair poultry show with kids today. Yippie!

Oldest son went home with 5 first places.

Youngest son 1 first place and 2nd and a third.

Oldest daughter 2 second place.

There's a shape you don't see every day.
The one on the right is the shape & size I normally get.
I've never before seen an egg shaped like the one on the left.
I'd never try to incubate it; there's liable to be a giraffe in there

mine have hatched some. One dead several eggs abandoned which is what I expected due to amount of hens in there. Incubator is running with varying ages of eggs. One is pipping.
Not sure how long they were off this morning or how many the four hens that are on chicks have. Did not want to cause a commotion moving them this morning
