I just saw the damage the termites (gone for three years) did. It could have been so much worse, but it is almost too much! So many things wrong that should have been fixed when the money was there.

and a brooder, keep them in it, at temps in a corner as suggested dont put them out during the day yet.

My shop vac isn't sucking. I cleaned the filter, and emptied the container. It has suction, it just isn't actually sucking for some reason.

You've got suction @ the end of the hose where the attachments go?

Yes. I finally put the hose on the blow side of the vacuum. All I saw was a little bit of dirt, but I guess if it was clumped up ...? Anyway, blowing the dirt out worked.

Okey-dokey, people. I finally sold my sectional today. It took up the whole room, and Duckling really needed more room to play. Besides, the sectional was getting tush divets. I could have restuffed the couch, but I really wasn't sitting on it much anymore anyway. It was there for company and looks.
With the sectional gone, I finally tore up the old carpeting that I had been reluctant to take up before. The wood underneath is not a uniform color, and I do not want that exposed. That was before Duckling was even born. The deterioration of the carpeting changed my mind. I don't want all of that dust and garbage getting into her lungs.

Now that my floor is clean, I get to drag out the dirty carpeting. I only had to vacuum sweep and mop up about five or seven times.
