I've been wondering abut the consequences of all this since their mother died when they were two weeks old, so it's not unexpected, and I mostly haven't let myself get too attached - I find one of them sort of adorable (and she got a name), but am trying not to think about that if I have to cull. I just remind myself that I don't want them to suffer...

I don't think any birds incubate at 102.

The last question I can't answer but you could be right.
