Well I am taking my last 4 ducklings to swap meet tomorrow...hopefully I can sell them.....I'm only wanting $5 each.
If I sell them it will pay my gas money....I might pick up some odd ball eggs to hatch....someone had exotic pheasant eggs last time.

Hi Phil. Good price on ducklings at least here. Hope you find some god eggs to hatch

And anyone else.

Here's the temp that the Christmas rope gets too. I put pipe insulate around it and put thermometer on the rope light just to show the temp.

Chicks will lay directly on the light or beside it to stay warm. It stays plenty warm Inside a cardboard brooder box.

Interesting!

... you get the point!
For the first time in over a week, I was able to open Duckling's door without her waking! AAAAAND I was able to cover her up! She was obviously not ready to be taken out of the crib.

I take it you put the crib back together. Missed that. Glad she's staying asleep quite time is awesome.

Yes, she woke shortly after six this morning (instead of 8:30-10:30 as usual) and had another bad nap. The nap was the final straw. When she was done fussing, she "helped" me put the crib back together. I swear I heard her sing, "Hallelujah!" I know I did! She was a happier child the moment we went to her room tonight, and she saw the crib together. Last week (after the crib was down) she began crying whenever it was time to go to sleep. She saw the crib together, and stopped her tears. We read her stories in peace and harmony. She laid down, went to sleep and hasn't woken.
I expect her to sleep well into the morning!

Yeah. She has plenty of time before she should be out of a crib anyway. I never should have given into the pressure. She sleeps in a toddler bed everywhere else, but doesn't "sleep" anywhere else. She cries for hours (2-3) and they are rocking her most of that time.

She is never put down for a nap.
Here... She sleeps! A LOT!

So when her mother asks again about why I still have her in a crib, I can tell her! "It works!!"
