just remember that you want to open the incubator as little as possible, it lets cold air in and humidity out, they will be fine without food or water for up to 3 days after they are out of the egg, and the more you open it the more you risk the other eggs

I only opened it because it had pooped in the shell from being upright and not being strong enough to get out. I put the eggs in a carton because I have had bad luck with laying them on their sides.
