Hey so I have some exciting news... It's day 26 for my shipped pea eggs from PA and one of the six eggs is peeping!

I really hope it does! Lots of pea people have given up on trying to hatch shipped eggs because they are so hard to hatch. My eggs were free, but I had to pay for shipping the box here, and the sender wants the box sent back, so had to pay for shipping both ways.

Are they really that much more fragile than chicken eggs?

Pea egg hatching experiment...

Set four fresh eggs under a broody yesterday, and today I will put 10 fresh pea eggs in the RCOM, and the remainder of fresh and not so fresh and not so fresh in the Janoel.

They seem to be... I can incubate any just about any chicken egg I find, and I don't even pay attention to temp and humidity half the time and they hatch just fine. Pea eggs, whole different story... So now I try to find broody hens for them and use my incubators as hatchers.
