It could and may wait a bit but the longer I wait the harder it is to skin them. And more chicks in brooder need the space they are taking. I used to wait the full 16 weeks but there's only the two of us eating here and they would go bad before we could finish eating it. So earlier makes more sense for us.

i didnt ask, i have a tractor tire tire swing, it holds 4 adults comfortably

No nono you need to spill now. My back is half covered and one around my ankle. Hubby says no more, but I get past my apprenticeship I going to add one for that. Not sure if a micrometer or what yet. Don't have room for a Bridgeport.

I walked away for 20 minutes and was 75 posts behind. You are all busy this morning!! I cleaned out the brooder my 2 week olds are in, and gave them clean food and water, then added the 11 dry and fluffy babies that hatched, leaving 1 sad soggy baby in the 'bator.


What breed chick is hatched black with just white wing tips? Possibility moms would be Dominique or Black Australorp.
