Anoter question
Historical artifacts found in your property belong to you?
Depends on what they are, I imagine. Things like Indian arrow heads, Civil War items (lots of Civil War battles in this particular area), etc. unearthed on your own land, are o.k., I believe, but anything of real significance (in the eyes of the gov't) probably not, unless the finder is smart enough to keep his mouth shut!

Morning MC and Phil!
Ohhhh boy hubby is up, there goes my time on here. Crap. Have a great one I will try to get pics of any hatchery today. The other two are doing good. The first one with the yoke issue is smaller but up and moving. Loud lil stinker too. Eating and drinking well too.
Glad the little chick seems to be doing ok.

Last night while I was closing up the chickens I realized I REALLY need a rooster named John......

I was going around the coop saying goodnight to the chooks, and it hit me that a "John boy" would be hilariously appropriate to add onto the end of ".....Goodnight Emma, goodnight Sunshine, goodnight pingu, goodnight lucky, goodnight mystery, goodnight rain, goodnight muffin, goodnight smudge, goodnight blackies, goodnight brownies, scardey birds (Jace's chicks); goodnight Abi, goodnight Enya, goodnight guineas, goodnight Jace, goodnight Reynbow, Goodnight HennyPenny (you broody stinker!); goodnight Gem, goodnight duckburds!

I've ready about that other places too, tell you to conserve then when you do they raise rates so you pay the same.

@Sally sunshine

How do you go on vacation with a litter of puppies at home?

Sally's idea of vacation is different than most peoples.

Home projects to do, and time with just her own children.

Questions
You can drill a well on your property as you choose?

That can get a lot of different answers as it is a state/local issue not federal. Where I live yes.

Anoter question

Yes.

When I got home early am I had one lavender orpington hatched this morning when I got up at 730 there is another lavender and a chocolate cookcoo cross. Still waiting on the other few 4 of them are 3 days behind so I should be hatching all weekend. Lol. There was only 10 surviving eggs to start with.

A non potable well seem like a great idea. I hope you are able to keep your trees alive.

Morning Liz. Shower water wasn't fun. The water company wanted everyone to save water Now that we did I hear they are going to raise the rates to make up for lost income. Brownies were yummy peer pressure good in this case.
I've ready about that other places too, tell you to conserve then when you do they raise rates so you pay the same.

Sister in law won't be able to make it. Some sort of shooting in her neighborhood. Sister is at parents so I'm heading there. That water table seems very high. What's quality of water in your area. Ours had to be shut down due to bacteria count. Too many horses etc down near my well. And my pond. It's very nice to be able to breathe although I'm sure the other side of fire isn't.
The water table is VERY high on my end of Simi. But, the bottom of my driveway is 70 feet lower than my house level. So, my house is 80 feet above the table. There is a building site near here that has stayed empty, and has had 4 different investors over the past 10 years. That site floods EVERY time it rains. Whoever builds there will need to spend millions to adjust for the high water table. On the other side of town, there are streets that people complain their gutters are never dry, the water table bubble up there. We're digging a Non Potable well. It will mainly be used to keep our trees alive, they are starting to die off. We've had to water them, and there are I think twenty 100 year old Eucalyptus trees.
A non potable well seem like a great idea. I hope you are able to keep your trees alive.
Questions You can drill a well on your property as you choose?
It's not quite that simple, but if the municipal water doesn't go past your property, and the property can be built on, yeah, you can. You'll get told where to locate it, though.
In israel ALL the water consider government property and you can't collect them! Even the rain water that goes trough the gutter from your roof you aren't alowd to collect them and the gutter most end on a dirt soil that alow the water to drain to the aquifer!

Quote: 10 feets are 3 meters, not a deep drill! And once you have your wel, you can use any amount of water you want?
Nobody's going to tell you you can't, but if you're dumb enough to run it dry from lack of common sense, shame on you. Even folks with deep wells like mine, if they've any smarts at all, are always conscious of their water usage.

Dax if I understand correctly the post any of the pic. Are different birds? Am I correct? If it is the situation the 2 birds in the second pic seems to as the keepers
Broad backs.(
The first and second pictures are two looks at the same pair. The third and fourth are two looks at a seven week younger bird from a different source, and the last picture are my two hens. They will also be breeding Leghorns, ISA, and a couple of others types for colored egg layers. Thanks. Have a great night.
