looks like where the original air cells were, the line even follows where it went in transit through the postal systemYou're right. One has an internal pip, drawdown, and movement, so I'm going to boost humidity higher now and not touch.![]()
Before you yell at me for opening the bator, I saw something strange on the eggs, and remembered I had seen it before on previous batches, but had forgotten to ask. It appears at around lockdown time. I couldn't get a good pic through the glass....
It is grey rings around the very top. Not indented, just a grey color making rings. They were not there at time of setting. Anyone know what this is?

maybe condensation during shipping, but you didnt notice it at first because of the fact that the cells had not grown yetYes, but why the color change? And why wouldn't it have been there sooner?

my guess is accidental sweatingThey are perfectly circular, and they look like they were applied with a stamper. There are more than one on some of the eggs, but the camera won't pick it up.

I think shell color changes over time from all types of chemical interactions.
IMHO, you are over thinking this. Set them and forget them. Pull out baby chicks.
