Yes about the pace, it could get it from outer birds, the affect of pathogen is dependent on various things. The LOAD of Pathogens that each chick have bee exposed to, the immunological efficiency of each chick, and that depends on the genetics and environmentally conditions, like the level of stress.
To be practical:
1. Isolated the chicks from other
2. Give extra vitamins and electrolytes in water and food
3.if you can send some examples for laboratory examination to identify the bacteria it will give you the exact answer.
4. Clean the environment of the chicken
5. Hope for the best!

Right ok...well I've already put vitamins in the water, and I'm trying to keep them as cool as possible as well just in case it has been the heat...there was three of them doing it but now there only seems to be one that is particularly bad. When you say electrolytes, is there a particular brand or something? I will be cleaning them out too as they quite rapidly turn the place into a poo palace!
