@ChickenCanoeNo, I am not missing the heat at all, I just hope my critters are OK. Especially, the broody and two chicks in a glorified box with hardware cloth windows.

Hi Linda
Sorry about your Mariners just teasing
Cards won the first 3 games of their 4 game series against the Padres that had been on a roll before they came to town. I guess those southern Californians can't handle this Ugh! weather.
Former Padre, Jedd Gyorko set a team record of 6 home runs in 5 consecutive games against a single team. He got one in game 1, another in game 2 and two in game 3.

I miss working. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my day. Hahahaha. Any suggestions. Besides ductaping the trumpet head .
Build another chicken coop and plant something. Plan next year's garden.
Design an automatic coop door.

Yeah. We went on the wrong day but it was fun!! We could touch the field from our seats!!!
Good seats are great. The old Busch stadium (#2) was for both football and baseball. the entire sections of field box seats would rotate to make a rectangular field for football so you looked straight at the action and then back for baseball so you were looking at the infield.
We're on our 4th Cardinal stadium. Sportsman's park, where I went as a child, and Busch Stadiums I, II and III and there were other MLB stadiums here many years ago. People always said at the Busch Stadiums, there were no bad seats.
I guess that's what beer profits buy.

This town has been baseball crazy since the 1800s. Even though this is one of the smallest markets, in the last 10 years, total attendance has ranked 2nd in the league four times and 3rd five times. It amazes us to watch away games with empty seats anywhere in the first two decks. Some cities have few attendees even on the lower deck.
There's never a wrong day to go to a MLB game, even when your team doesn't win.

The cubbies have been saying that for 100 years.
