My SPR were four large light colored and two small dark. It turned out to be one of the lights was a girl. Otherwise, it was small dark girls and big light boys. That is apparently common in this line.

Interesting I think the yellows are larger. I'll have to pay more attention next time out.

After the first week or so, my babies go out. Duckling gets to play with them. Her hands get washed, Lysol wipes get used anywhere they are put down or poop. Inside I can keep her hands clean. BYC uses pictures of little ones kissing chicks. I have often wondered about that. If you guys don't know, the wise and wonderful founder is a worse germophobe than me.

Lol! The only reason that we got ducks is because a friends gave us 2 goslings, but our dog got 1 of them and we didn't want it to be lonely. AND we couldn't find any baby geese in our area, so our last choose was ducks!

I fear that my post about not having poultry indoors is being ignored.

We're giving fodder to the anti-backyard chicken authorities.

Not just salmonella but lung problems due to the dust and dander. Caution is smart.

Here are the baby ducks and baby goose! One duck is a Magpie (we named it Melon) and the other one is a Pekin (we named it Panko). Then the goose is an African (we named it Old Yeller)
