These babies bear a striking resemblance to my newest arrivals. Broody kinda went nuts and was bouncing off the walls and digging to China, throwing bedding high and wide. I felt the singleton she hatched might be injured and gave up - trip to feed store for 2 buddies.
When I introduced the day old "ameraucanas", Mama became quiet, slowly squatted and opened her wings and now
Peace Reigns! One happy little family.

I thought I'd heard a dove the last several days. The feed and water are outside. The dove was on the roof of the coop for a few hours. It then roosted inside the run until Duckling scared it, and it flew to the turkey pen.
It matches my lone turkey!

Maybe it's looking for a friend.
