One other is externally pipped on the right end. No activity there yet. The 3 others have nothing going on yet...

i dont think it is zipping yet, i think it is just enlarging the pip, but could be wrong

I thought that to at first but when it didn't stop and kept moving in a straight line I thought it must be zipping. I've hatched quite a few eggs now but have no experience with wrong end pips

Hi All, Not a SINGLE quote came through GRRRRR So, yes, I'm having glitches as well. I hope everyone is staying cool in this heat. We're supposed to be well over 100 today and it's already blazing out there.

It's been a busy couple of days. I have the one silkie chick that hatched under a broody silkie. It's getting big!!




These are the chicks I hatched for gotro17, I'll be trying to sneak them under her broody mamma today.



I had snuck 2 babies under a broody hen last week, I snuck 3 more under her last night. They seem to be doing great! But, I have 6 chicks there, so I'm guessing one of the non fertile eggs I left under her happened to be fertile? I had 2 nesting boxes in there for her, but she has moved out onto the floor (abandoning the remaining eggs) and is caring for the chicks there. So I removed the big bin and just left the bucket.
