Never in my life had to add ice cubes to a chicken's water in hot weather; shaded run was always sufficient.
Not anymore. It's flat brutal out there.
Good night guys....just got into Traverse City.....spend a couple of days with my kids.....sad I'm already homesick.
Enjoy your visit Phil!
Morning, all! I'm up, I'm up! Scald water is almost ready, hoping to get a good early start. Maybe I'll get all 9 done today - here's hoping!

I am still wondering. Why did I see the pics on mobile, but when I was on desktop, they weren't even showing in my quote? This site is interesting.
Dunno; I'm on desktop and can see em fine.
She edited the post to fix he pics.
What kind of goats? I want pygmys but can't find them
I do not know yet. On one hand, if I got full size, I could sell milk and train them to pull carts. On the other, smaller ones would eat less and I would not have the hassle of selling milk.
You can sell little goat's milk too, I do (for animal use only as state law allows)
thats not bad for a young one@MotorcycleChick
And everyone one else interested.
Here's the first rooster butchered from the Dark Cornish I bought April 7. Noisiest and probably the smallest. Must say I'm more impressed with them now. This weight is minus the bag weight, also no skin backs necks or wings except the first section.
