There isn't a hole, it looks more like a scab and I didn't see anything inside - so still hoping it's a breast blister. But I will see when I prep for freezing. YUCK YUCK YUCK.

It isn't in the breast area. Looks like it's the gland on the back side near the rear. Looks as though it got an infection in there!

My poor girls are standing around, in the shade of course, panting and holding their wings out. I have wet down their favorite areas. They are good layers, still getting those eggs from them on a daily basis, heat and all. Most are laying before noon. Smart.
