Obviously ducks DO NOT LIKE change!! And they also dont like teased that I let them out and wanted to put them right back in again. They are spoiled, and they are making me mad that they keep picking on my goose.

When I go out on my back deck and open the door I call out "Quackers" and they come running.

Quote: It's the Fortiflex two compartment mineral feeder actually. Here it is, I'll try to get an "in action" photo they evening. I put grit in one side, oyster shell in the other, and zip tie it to the side of the coop (HW cloth).

Of course you should! Just look how fuzzy and adorable they are and they're just sleeping!

I love Cayugas! My favorite are the older hens who've molted a few times. They get all dappled with white spots and I think they're even prettier that way.

So we should post lots of duck pictures to help you, right?

I use that feeder too. I kept meaning to get a second, but now that I free range, they can get their own grit. I am hating winter anymore. I'm happy in the heat too. I like the turkeys best, then ducks. Poor chickens are last.
