My broody hen ate 2 out of 4 eggs I put under her. Think she is going to solitary tomorrow for a few days to hopefully adjust her attitude. If that doesn't work I may remove her, permanently. She a gorgeous big girl who I would like to get chicks from but so evil.

Very tempted to remove her, but I want to try a time out first. New male Cochin coming as well who could mate her. So she may hang around till next year, in her own pens
most the time if she keeps it up.

i complain a lot in winter so i make sure not to do it at all in the summer

Yup! I've got 4 Buff eggs in my Mini and 9 Cayuga eggs in the Octagon 20 Adv. They are a couple days behind these though.

Good to know, I REALLY REALLY want to hatch some duck eggs but I wasn't sure I could fit them in my brinsea mini advance.

We have duckling therapy to do on all the threads. Better do goats and mini cows too.
