So Hubby's dad thought it was a good idea to buy they boys another beebee gun. I took it out. Its loud!!! I think its more than a beebee gun. Any thoughts.

Pleasantly surprised this evening when I went to lock up. For the 1st time since I put the 7/2 chicks outside, I didn't have to catch any by hand or net them to get them into the coop; 5 of the 6 were already in, and the last one was right in front of the door. 'Til now, they'd go part way up the ramp, but jump off & pile up in a corner, content to spend the night on the ground if I'd let them. No more nightly Great Chicken Roundup.

Lol that's good to hear, two of my teens escaped the fenced area today one was trying to get into the dumbo use the other was on the window sill lol

Well, I definitely have a broody ... She growled at me and puffed up huge when I tried to collect eggs today.

Guess I need to find her some fertile eggs!!!

It's time!! Woohoo!!

Also discovered that the hen I lost last week must have been the one free-loading for several months; went 4 for 4 today.

Yes I fully understand the room redone part. Thats part of the hold up on the nursery. Daughter is getting booted to the other side of the house and her old room will be the nursery. Of course if shes moving rooms then it has to be painted. Mama wants the babies beside our room so thats what she will get. Now that my son has realized his older sister is getting a new room and the babies are getting a new room he has decided maybe its time for him to at least get a makeover for his room. To answer the question though we are planning a grey and aqua theme with giraffes and elephants. I guess its the latest and greatest trend on pinterest these days. Pretty sure that website and the corresponding honey do list will be the death of me.

That's not a bb gun; it's a .177 caliber pellet rifle. Great for shooting cans & water jugs 'cause it's cheap. It'll also do a job on squirrels, rabbits, rats, etc. Benjamin's a good one.
