I am thinking of having a fire right now! You know it is going to be fun watching the plastic melt off. BTW, the other rack and bottom of the oven are about clean. Fortunately, I haven't cleaned the oven in a while. Embarrassing (and odd since I swore I did it a few weeks ago) but it certainly helped in this case!

Just don't let the firy plastic drip on to your foot.

I would have called him but the last time I did that he was on the phone with me for my over an hour. I put him on speaker phone and inspected an entire home with him talking and me putting in an occasional unhuh yep sure etc. I still don't know why he called. I think it was about the fireplace he just bought.

I almost have this mess cleaned up. Anyone know how to get this off the rack? Pulling hasn't broken it off, but it might break my hand. All I can think to do now is heat it up again. Hmmm.... If no one can think of another idea, putting it over the fire outside should work! I have two fire areas. I will definitely not let melted plastic be in the one I use for cooking.
