ughhhh yes admitted

but but but.... that mean I cant let him lay on my lap and lounge like I am his servant there to please him with scratches

you need to know WHAT you want the goat for before you decide. I THOUGHT I wanted Nubian until I did my homework, and yeah I tend to get involved a bit when researching lol

I thought about them too, but after talking to a local goat person, they were not hardy enuf for my needs.....Their ears are so cute though!

I want a medium size goat with decent milk production that is hardy. I'd be mainly getting them to clear brush. Not that they aren't gonna become spoiled little boogers, but I can pretend they're just for brush clearing!

Oh, and I also like a wide range of colors, and I don't really like the earless look.... But that's all bonus.

MORNING BUBBLES!!!!
Ouch, mornin Chaos!

Mornin Sally, MC, Daxi, JT, (what do we call ya now?) and all else

They don't stink much from January to July, but in August they start peeing on themselves for the females and stink through breeding season.

Lucky's lucky you care.
Remember me saying I have 4 youngsters that have taken to bedding down on a roost pole in the run? There's an upside to that; they've gone, in the last couple of evenings, from wild things that wouldn't even think about letting me touch them to pretty docile, allowing me to stroke them & pick them up off the roost. One of them was even doing a pretty fair impression of a cat yesterday, arching his back as I stroked him. Hopefully he'll carry that into adulthood.

Lucky's luck is gonna run out soon.... I reckon he's used about 8 lives by now.....

Nice! Having tame chickens makes everything so much more enjoyable.... Hope they stay that way.
