Well I wanted to use hamster eggs but my hamsters are slacking.

I want to hatch echidna and platypus eggs.

Hey Whites...Mr and the neighbor kid found the walleyes the other night.
We trolled crankbaits for a few hours over a nice saddle with weeds....

Nice. I've only caught walleye a couple times. We have some walleye water but I think we're on the southern end of their range.

Settled on the Porter-Cable nailer...on sale, plus BIL's 10% discount.

It's nice to finally decide.

Not bony, they are a delicacy in our fish fries.

Our "normal" snowfall is probably 5"-8", but we'll get a foot once in a while. Usually, most if not all of it is gone before the next big one dumps on us. I went for 3 years w/o ever starting the snow blower a while back

I'm okay.....with my health and such I could always be better but....all and all its okay. Going to a Tiger game in a few weeks. Got the grandson coming back up this week. The Fairs are coming. Marquette County Fair this week....U.P. State fair next.

Both Missouri and Illinois state fairs start today. They are both about the same distance away but not close to me.
I'd like to go but I doubt I'll make it. Too much else going on.

I wasn't aware that my picture had been chosen for the caption contest. Yeay me!

I'm down to 13 adults that have to be blood tested this month or next. I'll still need lots of winter coop space though. I have about 50 chicks and more being set.
I should be getting lots of eggs by spring and have lots of cockerels for the freezer this winter.

Of the 11 due yesterday, 7 are out, 2 still zipping and 2 quit a few days ago.

Straight lumber? Never knew there was such a thing. What a concept!

It is hard to find. I've found that HD usually has straighter lumber than Lowe's. Regular lumber yards are sometimes a better bet if you really need straight.

Even if you find straight ones in the regular pile they'll be warped by the time you get home with them.

The cull pallets are perfect for chicken coops.

Not much, enjoying the rest, I cant do much in this heat. Going to this place 5 miles from home, for good breeze and beer (not to much!)

Looks great. Nice to have something like that nearby.

The expression was all her. Crappie was on a website that sells images; son enhanced the color to make it more 'real' looking. Whole thing took about 20-25 min. on a computerized embroidery machine. She even did 4 bowling towels for me & my team
