My 1st batch lasted about 6 weeks...
The Welsummers from that batch were awesome, my favorites.

(My "problem" has been fixed--no more worries)

Raccoons? That's what we have here and skunks.

I've a guy I bought different eggs from on eBay that sells the Welsummers as well and I think chicks also. I've a broody just starting eggs from the hens I hatched on the January Hal

I love all my dogs!

I bred her to a black Standard size Poodle! So....Goldendoodles! It was great. I can't believe I did that..I used to foster and rescue. But, I made darn sure that they went to good homes. I love getting photos back of some of the babies. Here is one of them. Love him!





This couple wanted him for a camping/hiking companion. They say he loves it.



This boy had a lot of growing still left in him when this was sent to me. I need to ask for some photos of him now.

Dogs.
My own precious pet dogs....wel really I should saw DOG....one in particular....He is not very fond of anything new in his yard.
I built a fort know fence to keep dogs and chickens separated.
Hopefully it works!
The babies are still inside but so are the dogs!

So far so good.
