Maybe that's will work, at least for folks with Facebook.
Mercy! That radar looks like half the state was getting hit at the same time for a while; BR getting the worst of it. I imagine there's people who were barely getting by before the storms that have lost what little they had, with no insurance to replace it. So sad. No matter how bad it gets, there's always someone, somewhere that has it worse.

I'm way over in that mostly dry part close to Texas. I just sit and cry reading about the folks who lost their flocks and herds. Big farm country through there too, so lots of lost crops. It's a bad situation for sure.

I don't claim to know about that. But if I'm sad about the cucumbers in the yard that didn't make it, I'd think they would be sad over their fields.

I'm a sweet, sensitive little thing.

Another thunder boomer going on here. We need a good rain; been 24 hours since we've had any.

I believe I'll just leave my sorry butt parked right where it's at for the duration. Going south would mean more heat & humidity...can't go much farther east,...going to the midwest, where my family roots are, puts me in tornado alley...upper midwest has the twisters and harsher winters. Much as I hate MD's liberal politics, we measure our snows in inches, not feet...humidity's bad, though normally not quite as bad as it is now, normally enough of a breeze to make the skeeters bearable, and overnight temps, though not ideal for sleeping in July & August, really aren't all that bad. With a ceiling fan going & the windows open, I normally sleep under a sheet, DW would be right at home sleeping in the freezer, but there's only been a few nights in the 3 years since I removed it when I missed having the A/C unit in my room. All in all, not too shabby. Of course all bets are off if the land to the east of me is developed; then I'm gone, if I have to live in my truck.
