im jealous
But I'm now enjoying a t&t

I received an email saying that Liz had quoted me. I clicked on it to bring me here, and see what on earth she was talking about.
BYC was doing updates, and sent me an old update. It was from the day I was supposed to leave for Brian's funeral. Everyone was trying to convince Squishy to drive out to Ohio to support me.
:( Now I need another bottle of JD.
im sorry :hugs :hugs

Finally got the first one built, except for two braces. Rest of them should go a bit faster since I have one under my belt now & it's not all brand new to me.
Spent the time to get all the gussets cut so I don't spend all my time running back & forth to the radial saw. Been so hot during the day that I ork a little in the morning & evening. Got smart & set up a work light today so I can work after dark. Reminds me of when I was a kid & pitched horseshoes half the night under the lights.

Having the pile of gussets ready really helps. Don't nail yourself in the dark or the hose!!! We have finally stayed under 100 for two days in a row. Keeps this up I might be able to send for my pullet.

FOR ALL YOU PEAFOWL PEOPLE:

I have 2 babies that I hatched early July. They were both doing great until this morning:

I walked over to check on them, and saw that they were both laying in the middle of the run just panting. And one was dead. But, the other seemed just fine. I looked the dead one over, and there were no wounds, so I just assumed that it was the heat. So, I put ice in their water and sprayed down the ground.

Well, this evening I went over to check on them again and now the other one is not moving, and is just laying in the same spot as I left it. But still breathing.

So, is there a sickness that peafowl commonly get? And is there anything that I can do? Please help!

Thank you!
sorry I am no help

I come back after a 3 hour absence & everyone leaves. WTH?
lol

Quote: Screwing the gussets on. I'll back them up with nails for insurance before we set them. Setting them's going to be fun; they ain't light. Wish I had a bucket loader.

dont we all!!
