A few years back we had one crash into a home a short distance from our office. Not as good an outcome I'm afraid.
Some narrow misses with traffic but no injuries and the plane wasn't damaged. Engine went out and he just couldn't make the airport less than a mile away. Here's some video.

I just needed an inexpensive option. This was besides being easy to fold up to tear down and store. Everything folded up and stored in a small space. The tarp and plastic went out to be dumped the plastic went in the trash, and the tarp was hosed, dried, and stored.
I like the good ventilation and it is light enough to carry the bedding to the compost pile.

Just candled my eggs. The ones I put in on the 9th (1 now), 10th (2), and the 12th (2) are all doing great and moving a bunch (I think one on the 10th might be twins, don't know how to tell). The one i put in on the 15th has great veins and moves around. The 3 on the 17th are veining good and can see a heart beat. The 2 I put in on the 19th have started to get veins. And just added 2 today. Temp good, humidity good. Still losing patience though. Can't wait to have more babies! Hoping they all make it at this point. (Listening to my grandmother saying "Don't count your chickens before they hatch" Takes a whole new meaning when you are ACTUALLY hatching chickens).
Good luck. Your biggest challenge will be getting the 9th and 10th chicks out before the 12th eggs pip while continuing to turn the later ones. Have patience. Temp and humidity good, just walk away and do something else till the end of the 30th.

I once saw an interview with Professor Leibowitz , one of the greatest thinkers and scientists in Israel , in modern times.
And when he was asked about wat is moving him , he replied : " Ignorance of the people "
I think this clip is one fine example to how stupid people can be!
The first scene must have been Russians, the second were clearly Americans.

ughhhh bator said 104!!!! I wonder if the wafer is crapping out after all these years!!!

@BantyChooks

I found little bits of Styrofoam on the table and floor around the LG incubator.
Then I noticed there were scratch marks all around the windows. My son's cat is enamored with chicks hatching. Luckily she didn't break in completely.
She's moving out with my son at the end of the month.
Farm tour yesterday. Sorry it was a mess. Wanted y'all to see my birds in action.

That's not a mess. I can show you a mess. Plus you have staff.

And last but not least, a giraffe has the same number of bones in its neck as a man.
Same number as a mouse too. All mammals are the same.

Morning Abi
Waiting for the meeting to start? Not busy there this morning.

Very pretty. It is grey here and we got a quick shower and now it is really humid and getting hotter.
I've had the AC off for 2 whole days now. Very rare in August. It will probably have to come on tomorrow morning though.

If I weren't a loser, I would be picking them up myself... I might try to sneak a goat into the car too, but I would go get the kittens.
This is for you.

Cave time bbl. Have a great day everybody!
At least it's cool in there.

That takes all the fun out of it! Top prize gets a virtual cup of joe. I'm probably dealing with a mix, hope it lays eggs or does some sweet tricks.
Not a fair question if it is a mix.
I wish I had pictures of birds from the exact same pairing of adults. The offspring looked completely different from each other including shape, feather color, leg color, combs, etc..

Benny thank you so very much for all these wonderfully diet inspiring food ideas. I don't think I will eat all day now. Ughhhh!
It does help the weight loss doesn't it.
