The first one still has the bottom half of the shell stuck to his foot.
*LEAVE IT?*
He's just fumbling around like crazy...will it come loose?

I just shined the flashlight in..
It's a strip of membrane around his ankle like an anklet.

I say maybe because I don't remember when I stuck the eggs under the broodies, or if I set all on the same day. As for number of peafowl, let's just say I have lots, lol. Of "lots", 12 yearlings are for sale and so are all but a few of my 2016 chicks. -Kathy

No, just the one, but she sure is beautiful, and so much bigger than her broody mama (OEGB).
